Think about above quotes. Those quotes will define what is an animal and why we must take care of them. Animal world is an another marvelous creation of nature. And most of them are awesome. It’s mind-blowing to think about the multitude of animals that exist in this world. From the tiny flea to the great blue whale, each animal possesses a unique quality that makes it stand out from the rest. It can be their physical appearance, abilities etc:-. There are a million ways in which animals are funny, sweet, loving, sneaky, silly, and sometimes even weird. So here is a collection of awesome facts about animals. 1. It is predicted that the reason why night insects , such as moths, are attracted to lights is because they mistake them for the light of the moon , which they used to navigate the Earth before mankind made artificial lights .

2. Through the use of optogenetics , scientists were able to create a false memory within a mouse ’s brain . This was done by marking the neurons that fired in the mouse ’s brain when in one environment, transferring the mouse to a second environment and making these neurons fire whilst shocking the mouse’ s feet, then transferring the mouse back to the first environment. This made the mouse believe it had had an unpleasant experience in the first environment when in fact it hadn’ t. Actually this is a revolutionary research. What will happen if someone hack in to another ’s mind  like in Inception?

Many think that when cats inhale nepetalactone, it affects hormones that arouse sexual feelings, or at least alter their brain functioning to make them feel "high." Catnip was originally made, using nepetalactone as a natural bug repellant, but roaming cats would rip up the plants before they could be put to their intended task.
    38. Cats often rub up against people and furniture to lay their scent and mark their territory. They do it this way, as opposed to the way dogs do it, because they have scent glands in their faces.
    39. There are more than fifty different kinds of kangaroos and Gorillas sleep as much as fourteen hours per day.
