"The human body and mind are tremendous forces that are continually amazing scientists and society. Therefore, we have no choice but to keep an open mind as to what the human being can achieve."
Evelyn Glennie

Modern humans ( Homo sapiens) are the only extant members of Hominina clade, a branch of the taxonomical tribe Hominini belonging to the family of great apes. They are characterized by erect posture and bipedal locomotion; manual dexterity and increased tool use, compared to other animals; and a general trend toward larger, more complex brains and societies. Arguably humans are one of the greatest creation of mother nature. The human body is an incredible thing and so many awesome things happening right now inside of your body. Some of these facts may be hard to believe, but they are actually happening. So here I try to mention some of the craziest facts about humans.

Check Out These Awesome Facts,

  1. The brain operates on the same amount of power as 10-watt light bulb. The cartoon image of a light bulb over your head when a great thought occurs isn’t too far off the mark. Your brain generates as much energy as a small light bulb.
  2. The fastest growing nail is on the middle finger. And the nail on the middle finger of your dominant hand will grow the fastest of all. Why is not entirely known, but nail growth is related to the length of the finger, with the longest fingers growing nails
  3. Nerve impulses travel to and from the brain at speeds of up to 250 miles per hour, faster than a Formula 1 racecar.
  4. When in love, the human brain releases the same cocktail of neurotransmitters and hormones that are released by amphetamines. This leads to increased heart rate, loss of appetite and sleep, and intense feelings of excitement.
  5. You can see ultraviolet light, the ability is just filtered out by the eye's lens. Some people have undergone surgery to remove the lens and can detect ultraviolet light.
  6. We humans are the best long-distance runners on the planet. Better than any four-legged animal. In fact, thousands of years ago we used to run after our prey until they died of exhaustion.
  7. Human hair is virtually indestructible. Aside from it’s flammability, human hair decays at such a slow rate that it is practically non-disintegrative. Hair cannot be destroyed by cold, change of climate, water, or other natural forces and it is resistant to many kinds of acids and corrosive chemicals. A full head of human hair is strong enough to support 12 tones. And the lifespan of a human hair is 3 to 7 years on average.
  8. Earwax production is necessary for good ear health. While many people find earwax to be disgusting, it’s actually a very important part of your ear’s defense system. It protects the delicate inner ear from bacteria, fungus, dirt and even insects. It also cleans and lubricates the ear canal.
  9. Skin can now be artificially grown. One amazing result of this is that the skin from one hand could be grown into enough to cover six football pitches.
